Internal Community and Mutual Promotion
The coolest thing about this contest is the internal development track chat.
Great channels, great people, everyone shares their experience with running Telegram channels, YouTube, speaking at conferences, inviting each other, making deals, and mutual promotion.
In short, it's great to see other channel creators and be in such a partnership environment.
And here's a folder with these channels for you to check out too: https://t.me/addlist/nLIiXa-eeiMyMWUy
# Organized a Partnership Deal
The next cool thing is how my recently released product (teleblog.net) perfectly fit the contest's theme.
We decided to partner up, and agreed that we'd give free versions to the winners, and they'd write about us in various sources. It's a win-win: we get users, and they get to try a useful product.
I've been in BigTech for so long that I'd forgotten you could arrange barters without hefty sums... startups are awesome.
# "Nobody Needs You"
Through advertising about the partnership, N clients also came (not a lot, but not a little), and they highlighted a few things:
- Even if your product solves a person's problem, if they don't feel the "pain" themselves and aren't looking for solutions, they won't come to you.
- People, even those who understand the value, might still not want it because again, "it doesn't hurt enough to spend even 1-2 hours on installation and setup."
- Nobody read the landing page, and all questions had to be answered in the chat.
There were a bunch of other technical revelations, but those will be in another post.
P.S.
There's also a viewer's choice award going on, and if you'd like, you can vote for me. For everyone who sends confirmation in the comments, I'll send a personal kiss in this chat π
