🎥 Posted My Talk About FOP 🎥

My first online talk at a conference where I discussed the problems with OOP and how FOP addresses them.

Watch, like, and argue in the comments (I’ve already started).

Special thanks to @bondiano for being the best co-host ever 💗

Watched it! It was cool! We need to work on the synchronization points in the report so that the speed changes smoothly, but overall, everything is clear and well-organized. The example is a bit far-fetched, of course, but it shows all the pain! 😂

Thanks for the feedback! I really want to present this material again, but improved. I hope it turns out well.

Can you build a structure at the beginning for orientation? Like a table of contents or a list of questions: * What is OOP * How OOP differs from procedural programming * Pros/sugar * Main concern * What do you propose * How it becomes simpler.

Just use the same structure as you built the slides, so the whole narrative makes sense. In general, you need to learn to ask yourself questions, figure out how to answer them, and build a report precisely from questions, with a small amount of glue.

    Very interesting performance, David! 👍

When does the new batch of the gym start? 😂

Let's say I'm preparing something, but honestly, you never really know with this stuff)

What does "хрен знает" depend on?

Damn... you're putting me in an awkward position...)

To be honest, for some reason I'm scared to launch a new "From Middle to Senior Node.js" stream, even though I've updated it significantly a long time ago and even adapted the same thing for Go... Primarily because I'm not sure if I can make adequate sales to make it profitable (especially now, while I'm looking for a job).

I suffer from the engineer's effect – I build products, but I don't sell them.

In short, everything is ready, something just needs to happen to give me the push to launch the new stream.

Regarding sales, yes. The rest is more about "close your eyes and take a leap."
