A series of posts where I ponder the differences between these roles
Let's agree on the rules right away:
1 role != 1 person – 1 person can be in N (multiple) roles at the same time
1000 and 1 nuance – boundaries are always blurred and the areas of one role will overlap with another
To each their own – each company may have its own designations for a particular role, I'll take the median of collective experience
What's this information for? I think it's partly to deter some people from becoming, for example, a CTO 🙂 Because it's not all as sweet as it seems to many
If, on the other hand, this information fills you with interest and courage, then I'll also consider my mission accomplished
