⚖️ Client Advocate ⚖️
Regardless of your organizational structure and who is responsible for what, you should always have someone representing the interests of your clients:
- Studying the needs of current and potential clients
- Their dissatisfaction with the products provided
- Market research
- Forming a product development map based on all of the above
In many companies, this role is taken on by the CEO / CPO / Product Manager / Product Owner
But it's entirely possible that a separate person should take on the role of "advocate"
For example, if you have extremely diverse clients (B2B + B2C, clients from different countries or markets, etc.), a separate person should take on the role of "advocate" for a specific type of client
Their role can be called Client Owner / Lawyer
Think about it: is there a specific person in your company who can answer for the needs of your clients and help build the backlog? If not, be sure to appoint someone to this role
